Data & Privacy
- No account is required to start using Homework1738.
- Assignments save automatically on your device so you can pick up where you left off.
- If you sign in with Google or email, assignments can sync across your devices.
- Account Settings stores your display name, sign-in method status, and dashboard preferences for synced accounts.
- Google and email/password sign-in can be connected only when they use the same account email.
- Email verification is optional and can be sent from Account Settings.
- Export gives you a simple backup whenever you want one.
- Clearing browser data may remove locally saved assignments, so exporting a backup is a good idea.
Known Issue
In the installed Chrome PWA on macOS, entering full screen may prevent the desktop dashboard layout from activating. Until that is fixed, the regular installed app window gives the most reliable desktop dashboard experience.
Tips
- Use high manual override when you know something needs to jump the line.
- Use the online assignment option to keep class portal or document links close to the task.
- Add short notes like "needs citations" or "study chapters 5-7."
- Set a default filter and sort if you always start from the same view.
- Export your data occasionally if you want a long-term backup.
Roadmap
- Due-date reminders and notifications
- Subject color-coding
- Weekly workload overview
- More theme presets and dashboard customization
- Smarter workload-based sorting
- Fix Chrome for macOS full-screen PWA dashboard detection
